Itinerary

• 1st stop

  Hotel Pick-up in Rome

  Our day begins at the hotel, where a private driver welcomes us into a comfortable car and we settle in for the drive south. Leaving the traffic of Rome behind, we follow the coast toward the Ulysses Riviera, with the day's stops already arranged so we can simply enjoy the ride.

• 2nd stop

  Terracina and the Temple of Jupiter Anxur

  Our first stop is Terracina, where the Temple of Jupiter Anxur stands on the clifftop above the Tyrrhenian Sea. From up here the view reaches the Pontine Islands, and the ruins of the ancient sanctuary sit right beside us. We then walk into the historic center, where Roman foundations support medieval churches and the streets feel like an open-air museum.

• 3rd stop

  Buffalo Mozzarella Farm

  A short drive inland takes us to a family-run dairy farm for our buffalo mozzarella tasting. We watch the cheesemakers stretch and shape the curds by hand, learn why the local buffalo milk tastes different from anywhere else, and taste the cheese while it is still fresh, the most hands-on moment of the day.

• 4th stop

  Sperlonga

  Sperlonga is the whitewashed village that many travelers rank among the most beautiful in Italy, and we spend the afternoon in its alleys. We walk beneath flower-draped balconies, look into artisan boutiques, and reach sudden openings over the turquoise sea, with our guide pointing out the details that a quick visit would miss.

• 5th stop

  Free Time by the Sea

  The middle of the afternoon is ours to slow down. We can settle at a seaside table for the catch of the day and a glass of chilled regional wine, stroll on the beach, or sit with a gelato while the light softens over the water. Our driver and guide stay close by, so nobody has to watch the clock.

• 6th stop

  Return to Rome

  At the end of the afternoon we settle back into the car for the drive north. The comfortable return gives everyone time to rest, compare photos, or plan the next day, and we are back at the hotel in Rome in the late afternoon.
